Reiki Lineage

In Eastern systems, it is quite natural to know from whom, and through whom, knowledge was received. This tradition is also part of Reiki. My Reiki training comes from this lineage:

Mikao Usui > Chujiro Hayashi > Hawayo Takata > Paul Mitchell > Rosalinde Seelig.

Mikao Usui is the founder of Reiki. About 75 years ago, Hawayo Takata brought Reiki to the West. Paul Mitchell, together with Phyllis Furumoto, held the office of Grandmaster for the Reiki world. They work from the tradition of Usui Shiki Ryoho; freely translated: “the Usui System of Natural Healing”.
 

After the death of Hawayo Takata, Reiki took off in the world. Sadly in this process, even complete teacher training courses were replaced by short cheap courses. Despite the rise of these courses, Rosalinde still only offers the original teacher training - to stay true to its source. This is still visible in her way and quality of teaching.
