Returning to the essence of who you always have been
Perhaps deeper within you lives one essential wish: to return to the essence. Along the way, you discovered that there is much in the inner backpack, but faithfully you keep going deeper in the hope of liberation. Welcome to the road to awakening.
There are many romantic ideas about spiritual awakening, which unfortunately are not true. It is however, a disarming encounter with your deeper nature, without filters, in the midst of all human dynamics and psyche. When you feel this is for you, we can get started.
Approach
In conversations, meditations and healing, we work intuitively, creatively and freely. We discover where the blockages are, and how to get deeper with attention. Healing supports this process. These sessions are complementary to your own regular spiritual practice.
During this path you experience what is really real, when you lose ideas and false assumptions. When someone awakens (i.e. kenshĆ), a pure light is permanently visible. This is still sometimes confused with âattaining enlightenmentâ, which only becomes possible much later.
Because VortexHealingÂź Divine Energy Healing is connected to the Divine origin beyond duality, it can release issues from ânon-dual consciousnessâ. Thus space is given in an âopen channel for the Divineâ.
Who Awakens Who?
It must be said: no human being can awaken another. Spirtual awakening is a gift from Grace. Or in other words, something deep inside has to work with you. This facilitates the ripening process towards awakening at your pace. We can however, choose to attune ourselves to this.
This is done, for example, in meditation with someone who can communicate it well, or even through books and video material. In addition, devotion/contact with a direct Divine incarnation is helpful (think Christ, Mata Amritananda Mayi, Neem Karoli Baba, Ramakrishna or Krishna).
Beyond the Fantasy
Spiritual awakening is often associated with ascension; the idea of moving into a 5th dimension. Or it is thought of as âseeing moreâ, âbeing able to do moreâ, âopening the eyesâ, or enriching yourself with new possibilities. The ego always sees the next fun and interesting goal, but never gets there.
Awakening is none of these things, not a state of mind, not an experience. It is who you have always been, and what lives within each of us. This dissolves illusions, such as the need to prove oneself, insecurities, unconscious attitudes, fixed ideas and other forms of baggage. What comes in return is love and appreciation for each moment.
What else is not actual spiritual awakening:
- Manifestation (relax, you really canât control life).
- Ascension (you donât have to go another plane of existance).
- Becoming sensitive (you lose more triggers instead).
- Plant medicine (it opens the door, but you canât stay there).
- Elevation/exaltation (you just become very ordinary).
- Aversion/avoidance of life (it is inclusive).
- Absolutism/infallibility (our human side remains).
When someone spiritually awakens, it does not mean that you are suddenly totally at peace like Eckhart Tolle, or that then all your problems are over. This is a romantic image that appeals to the ego. What you can expect is to have more space between you and the problems you are facing. And this in itself makes all the difference for a new direction in your life, in which remnants of ego unravel further. All that is human remains, while the awakening continues to blossom and can deepen infinitely.
Additional Background
There is much to be said about the spiritual path. The following conversation touches on many of these points:
